Celebrating National Inventors Month

National Inventors Month

Vlier: For those times when the job requires 105%

Quick! In honor of National Inventors Month, we’d like for you to name an inventor.

Maybe Leonardo da Vinci was your choice. Or perhaps it was Thomas Edison. Or Nikkola Tesla. What about Steve Jobs? Or Gene Wilder?

Wait, what? Now hear us out.

Who better embodies creative ingenuity and inventiveness than Willy Wonka, famously portrayed by Gene Wilder in the iconic 1971 film? It stands to reason that he should be grouped with these (perhaps) more well-known and -respected traditional inventors, because National Inventors Month is meant to celebrate inventors of all kinds. In that spirit, we’d like you to expand your horizons and pure imagination if you will.

So much time and so little to do. Wait a minute. Strike that. Reverse it.

75 years. More than 3,300 parts. Countless satisfied customers across a multitude of industries. All because of an invention that would become our flagship product, the Vlier Pin. Designed to fixture small parts in tight, compact spaces, the pins have perfected many manufacturing lines and products.

The average person, knowingly or unknowingly, has likely interacted with one of our products. Our parts can be found in the space station, credit card readers, surgical instruments, rollercoasters and high-speed rail. The application of our products is near limitless, and if you’re inventing something new, or even refining something, we have a part that can help get the job done. And well.

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

Why celebrate Vlier? We’re nimble. As technology changes or improves, we follow suit. In fact, we oftentimes must stay ahead of the technology to accommodate its demands. We’re on the cusp of new and exciting things to come. And we hope to be a part of your next project, too. Ready to get started? We are. And after we’re done talking business, maybe we can celebrate a bit.
