National Week of Making: June 11-17

National-Week-of-Making

We are celebrating National Week of Making as a champion of innovation, ingenuity and creativity of makers in the U.S. for more than 75 years.

Makers develop new solutions and products, engage students in the hands-on learning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), arts and design, and enable individuals to learn new skills in fabrication and manufacturing.

Innovation and ingenuity are what helped us create our flagship product, the Vlier Pin, in 1949. Today, Vlier products can be found across industries that require precision engineering and technology such as aerospace, defense, transportation, medical and telecommunications. Our parts are found in satellite towers, credit card readers and medical devices like defibrillators and contribute to the manufacturing of robotics, conveyor systems and aircraft seating, to name but a few applications.
